[b]Application[/b] The MC210CS is a media converter used to convert a signal and then connect a 1000BASE-LX/LH fiber optic cable to a 1000Base-T twisted pair cable and vice versa. Designed specifically for the IEEE802.3ab 1000Base-T and IEEE802.3z 1000Base-LX/LH standards, the MC210CS media converter is designed for use with single mode fiber optic cable connected via SC connector. When transmitting and receiving data, the converter operates at a wavelength of 1310 nm and belongs to the class of devices that use a long-wavelength laser (LX) when transmitting at maximum speed.
