Pilnas specifikācijas
The DFE-560FX is a network adapter with an optical SC connector that allows you to efficiently connect your computer to a Fast Ethernet network over an optical cable. The adapter is designed for the PCI Express bus and transmits data at a speed of 200 Mbps in full duplex mode. With additional features including priority queuing and VLAN, this adapter is ideal for bandwidth intensive applications such as VoIP and video conferencing. High performance and reliability The DFE-560FX adapter allows you to establish a reliable connection to your computer via an optical link. It can be used to control the power of a workstation or server from a Fast Ethernet switch over a fiber optic connection. Capable of operating at a data rate of 200 Mbps in full duplex mode, this adapter is well suited for use in environments with high electromagnetic interference, providing a connection to a switch located at a distance of up to 2 km using a multimode optical cable. In Bus Master PCI Express 1.1 mode, the DFE-560FX provides maximum performance. In Bus Master mode, data is transferred at multi-megabit speed directly between the adapter and the node, bypassing the processor resources, which reduces the load on it. Flow Control to Minimize Packet Loss The DFE-560FX supports built-in flow control, providing a means of protecting data while it is in transit over the network. When connected to a Fast Ethernet switch that supports flow control, the adapter receives buffer overflow alerts from the switch during peak periods. The adapter then delays data transmission until it receives a signal from the switch that it is ready to receive data. VLAN for improved performance and security The NIC supports IEEE 802.1Q VLAN, allowing you to create multiple subnets for each server or computer and isolate the devices within each VLAN from the rest of the network to improve security and traffic control. PXE Boot Remote Boot Option Network administrators can choose to secure remote boot from diskless workstation servers using Intel's PXE (Pre-boot Execution Environment). Workstations with boot ROMs installed in the appropriate slot on the adapter can boot operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and NetWare installed on servers in order to run administrator-designated applications.
